Weapons of The Walking Dead

While you’re waiting for the second season of The Walking Dead, we thought to show you closely what weapons were used in the first season.

And let me assure you there are quite a lot of them! It is, after all, a zombie show and we all now how important weapons are!

Today, we bring you a section of handguns used in the show.

Handguns

We start off with the Colt Python, which is the weapon of choice of the main character, deputy Rick Grimes.

Then, there’s his best friend and partner Shane who uses the police favorite Glock 17.

Something for the ladies, a Smith&Wesson 3913 “Ladysmith” which was used by Andrea.

Then there’s this beauty, the Browning Hi-power pistol used by Merle.

Another revolver, a stainless Taurus Model 85 (nickle version) is used by Morgan Jones in the pilot episode.

And the last one that caught my attention was the Beretta 92FS which Rick used to get rid of the soldier inside the tank.

Very Nice, You made a nice topic.

I Like the Colt Python. I just recognized the writing on it, and that i have a cigarette lighter with that model.

I love Colt Phyton and Browning. They the best. Other ones kinda suck.

The last pistol is not the Beretta 92fs, is the military issue Beretta M9(Yes, there is a big difference). Plus, the Sheriff never shot the zombie soldier with the M9, he shot him with the last bullet he had in his .357 revolver. The zombie woke up when the sheriff took his M9 pistol out of the holster, but got with the legend…

Morgan’s pistol is a S&W model 60. Take a look at the initial video and slowly go through the frames to see the features that are present in the S&W but not the Taurus.

There is very little difference between the M9 and 92FS. The guy that said there is a big difference is completely wrong. The biggest difference is the dust cover which is straight on the M9 and tapered on the 92FS although some 92FS come with a straight dust cover too.
