Weapons of The Walking Dead Part II

  • Share

Anyone who has ever seen an episode of The Walking Dead knows that the show uses an impressive set of firearms.

So, naturally, we couldn’t stop our topic after presenting you with only the handguns.

Next up are the shotguns!

There are plenty of shotguns presented in this series but one is above all others. It is the Mossberg 590 which has become Shane’s trademark weapon.

Then there’s Remington 870 used alongside his faithful crossbow by Daryl in a couple of episodes.

Rick also uses a shotgun in various situations, among others the Harrington & Richardson Pardner Pump Compact

… and the Mossberg 500.

And the last one is from the pilot, where one of the car chase suspects uses a Mossberg 590 Compact Cruiser Breach.

Honestly they could use a spas-12,is currently a good weapon. Its good for alot of zombies since it spreads alot. The choice of weapons was kinda to “famous ones” instead of “powered ones” Nice though

A SPAS12 “spreads” alot? What are you basing this on? It has a cylinder choke just like every other shotgun used on the show. Given the distances they are engaging the zombies at (i.e. sub 20 yards), you are talking about, what, 4-5″ of spread? The only difference is its semi automatic action, which makes it marginally faster than a pump action.
