Survival horror series featuring flesh-eating zombies created by synthetic means, such as infection with the fictional T-virus.
Probably the most popular and successful zombie game of all time, with numerous sequels and several movie adaptations.
10. CarnEvil

Light gun game set in an undead-infested amusement park.
11. Flesh Feast

Year: 1998.
Platform: Windows
3D game in which the player must guide either a team of four characters or a single character through 17 stages of play, rescuing survivors and fighting zombies.
12. Abomination: The Nemesis Project

Year: 1999.
Platform: Windows
Real-time strategy game where the player controls a squad of soldiers and must defeat zombies which have been created on a massive scale by a plague.
Mutants and cultists must also be defeated.
13. Zombie Revenge

Year: 1999.
Platform: Arcade, Dreamcast
Beat ‘em up where players choose one of three characters to pummel zombies
14. Evil Dead series

Year: 2000.–2005.
Platform: Dreamcast, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Windows, Xbox
Trilogy consisting of Hail to the King, A Fistful of Boomstick and Regeneration. Ash from the Evil Dead films slices through Deadites, “zombified demons”, with his arm-mounted chainsaw and double-barrel shotgun.
15. Survival Crisis Z

Year: 2004.
Platform: Windows
Features two different play modes, story and arcade, the former involves surviving a zombie holocaust by scavenging and interacting with other survivors, the latter is a straightforward shooter game.
